How to change clock on ETC ion

what are the steps to change the time on my ion? I know its a silly question, but it would be nice to have it correct when I look.

It's in the shelll..

Either interrupt the boot process by clicking on the countdown number dialog box, or if in the Ion app, exit to shell.

Yep. With the display expanded, 'Exit'. Then from the Shell, click Settings, and the time is under the General category.
