Interactive Video for Cirque du Soleil KÀ

The lead projectionist for Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ will give a presentation on the unique interactive video system used in this multi-million dollar production. The images are created live and projected on a variety of surfaces, including a 25’x50’ moving stage. Included in the discussion will be changes made during the upgrade in 2012.

The lead projectionist for Cirque du Soleil’s KÀ will discuss the functions and design of video in live performance, some of the equipment and technology used, and some definitions to help people understand what is needed for a better performance.
