Hi, just joined the site. Got here looking for info on zero-throw casters. I run a small summer theater program in Tannersville NY, upstate near Albany and 21/2 hours outside NYC. Its 225 seats, built in 1928, proscenium, no real flies, so everything's on wagons. Looking forward to the exchange of info, et al.,

Welcome, gregsbro. It's convenient that the term zero throw caster was only recently added to our glossary, and that this thread addresses same: http://www.controlbooth.com/forums/new-member-board/13712-triple-swivel-casters.html. I don't think I've ever used these, but can offer one word of wisdom: Don't skimp on your casters! Consider them a lifetime investment, as they're perpetually re-usable. For as long as I've been in theatre, Darnell has been considered the leader in the field.
