Lamp Off DMX command for Roboscan 218

Hi Guys,
Sorry this might be a question already answered. I inherited four roboscans 218 MKII. Love them but I have no clue how to turn the lamp off via dmx. The Martin manual talks about turning lamp off but no reference to the command to actually do this from the lighting board. Please help because I don't want to just cut power to the lights as I'm sure that can damage the lights or reduce there life span.

On another note thanks for the information on the reversed dmx cables!

I don't think the lamp is DMX-controllable. If off, a fixture reset may strike the lamp (ala Intellabeam), but to destrike, just remove power. It's such a low wattage lamp that there shouldn't be an ill effects.
