LEDs- Cheap Diffusers- Really Cheap

Cotton gauze from the local fabric store. Cheap, easy to cut, and disposable.

If it is not "closed" enough for your liking, double the layers.

Muslin works well too and is dirt cheap. I would use bleached muslin.

For my cheap LEDs I dumpster dove and pulled a bunch of florescent light diffusers. Works well.

Yes, *all* the accessories for RGB LED tape are *stupidly* expensive.

I looked at doing permanent Christmas/holiday lighting for people a few years ago, but I'm not a good enough salesman to sell a $3k install... :-}
