I am writing a Extended Essay in Computer Science for my International Baccalaureate. I will of course cite you all in my Bibliography.
I just have a few questions.
Analogue Control - The Old times.
What are your experiences with analogue control?
What problems did you have with Voltage Drop?
The farthest distance you lay a multi-core control cable?
Compatibility issues with connecters/jacks etc?
Clever workarounds?
Positive aspects of analogue control? (Multimeter Readings etc.)
Proprietary Protocols (Both analogue and digital multiplex) Eg. Strand D54 AMX192 ADBS20, Avab Protocol, Colortran CMX.

Funniest converter box story?
Touring stories?
Compatability Issues?
How fed up were you?
Positive aspects of proprietary control?
DMX-512 with and without RDM
When did you first use DMX?
Was it very cool when it was new?
Did you integrate dimmers with converter boxes? (Demux)
Any issues?
The most amount of universes you have ever used?
Limitations of DMX? (one byte only per slot, only 512 slots, slow 250 kilobaud, cable length limit, lack of error detection, 32 devices etc.)
Positive aspects of DMX?
Is DMX really suited for Media-Servers?
DMX over Networks
When did you first use sACN, ArtNet, or other Proprietary Control?
Limitations? (No RDM over sACN)
Is it really that awesome?
Which one is better suited as an industry standard sACN or ArtNet and why?
