I'm trying to set up a midiswitch to control the tap tempo on my mono delay in the M7cl rack. I can see the signal being received, but it isn't doing anything. Please help.
Thanks MrX. That is essentially what I have. I can see the midi signal input indicator flash on the m7, but it won't control the midi click for the tap tempo function of my delay processor in my onboard rack.
So you've confirmed that the MIDI message you're sending to the M7CL is actually MIDI clock? Use MIDI-OX or some other MIDI utility to confirm.
You have "Sync" enabled on the Delay effect? Does Tap Tempo work?

Yes, the sync light illuminates and the tap tempo works with the user define keys. Sync is also enabled in the effects processor. I just purchased the unit you recommended to see if it was something I wasn't doing right.

The key to all this will be to make sure what MIDI message is actually being sent by your pedal or device to the mixer. Getting familiar with a tool like MIDI-OX is invaluable in troubleshooting MIDI.
