MAC 250 reset issue

Hi all, i hope you can provide some help here.

We've recently taken possesion of 2 used Mac 250s, purchased as seen. Obviously not tested though.

On one of them the pan rotates as usual during reset, but then 'sticks'. The fixture does not then move onto the rest of the reset/startup procedure.

I seem to remember from previous use there is a peg or marker on the colour / gobo wheels to let the fixture know when it hits an end point. is this the same with the pan? i presume not, however i think something like this is at fault, as the fixture seems to not be aware it is at it's end stop.

Any clues or hints would be appreciated,

Thanks

Liam

Are you getting any errors on the LCD? Also, can you physically move the light when it is off 540 degrees? Martin support is a bit of a pain to get ahold of. I did have a direct number to the Mac250 project leader, but I left that in my old office. I will see if I can dig up a copy.

What it most probably is is that there is a lock that keeps it from tilting. Im currently doing a show, (in another Cb members theatre may I add) that is using 5 Martin Mac 250's and I had a similar problem when I reset them. But yes on the tilt joint on one side there is a mac 250 symbol, and on the opposite side is a little wing nut looking thing. Pull it out away from the fixture and turn it 45-90 degrees. this will release the tilt. I hope this helps!
