Midi Mixers

We have an ETC Congo JR. and I was wondering for our next show we don't have a sound tech, is there a way to control a digital sound console through midi by a light board?

What console and what is it you are wanting it to control? If it involves live mics, I'd be thinking very very carefully about having an operator...

its mainly for sound cues during shows, and a behringer digital console.

We'll probably need a model number on that Behringer to be able to tell you much useful...

it is a berhinger ddx3216 its their old digital mixer.

Yep has MIDI, but how many live mics are you running? more that 3-4, and you need an op.

One live mic for announcements the rest is computers for sound cues. I'm mainly wondering the settings I need in the mixer and the ETC board to control it.
