Mobile DJ, new to the forum.

Hello All,

I am a mobile DJ looking to become more proficient in DMX programming for my events. I look forward to getting to know everyone here on the forum.

My current lighting arsenal includes:

-2x Chauvet Intimidator Spot 255 IRC
-2x Chauvet Spot Duo
-6x Chauvet SlimPart 64 RGBA
-Chauvet Obey 4 Controller (looking to upgrade)

Welcome! If you are looking to start learning more professional level program, I would suggest picking up a Martin M Touch wing!

I would second the M-Touch. That's what I'm heavily leaning towards as an upgrade from Emulation and a MIDIcon wing.

I'm a current DJ who also has a ton of lighting experience. IMO, DJs need to have rapid access to queues, and have decent sound-active the for when dancing gets going, but it needs to be easy since you're in a different venue every night. I've taken a different path. For an easy solution, I recommend luminair/ipad for quickly being able to change your queues.
