Moving clouds

Hey our theater is putting on a performance where we need moving clouds and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how we could make this work out

Allow me to be the first to respond with the usual questions:

• What is your budget?
• How realistic does it need to be?
• What other design/style choices are being made that this solution has to work with?

Options range from an actor with a cloud cutout on a stick running across the back of the stage to moving backdrops, projections, to video walls. In my budget range I would be looking at animation wheels, GAM Film/FX, and gobo rotators.

uhhh 60ish dollar budget but we have plenty supplies its for charlie brown we plan on using a track system and a flyrail system trying to be cartoonish

1 cheap moving cloud = manual I-Cue (ERS w/ cloud gobo pointed at a mirror manually rotated) to make cloud projection move across cyc.

many cartoonish clouds - modified curtain track with cut-out EPS clouds hanging from it

Perhaps you can use a combination of a fly with hanging clouds attached and a traveler with clouds on it.
