Need help with this new project!

Hello everyone,

So Im working on this project. I am completely new to the whole LED thing. Im looking for a 43in RGB LED Strip that is sound reactive, waterproof, and a battery pack that'll last more than 6 hours. I'm having trouble finding a strip with all those specifications. I wouldn't mind doing some DIY too, but I don't even know where to begin and what kind of connections I will need to connect the sound receiver to the battery pack to the LED strip?

Chances are you can find an IP65 rating (water resistant) strip light, but I don't know of any that are that long that will run on battery. You will probably have to rig up a car battery with an inverter. Someone else may know of an all in one product.

Basically what im looking for are one of these things. The sound activated LED panel t shirts, but instead of a panel I just want an LED strip.
