You can get a quick change if you use fluorescent fixtures. GE makes a BB 48inch t 12 lamp that is reasonably efficient ( and wildfire also makes their increased output versions using fluorescent tubes

Or the Elation UV wash works well for this

Samoiloff Effect is curious - “under the red light he will appear as a white man in a black coat; under the blue-green as a black man in a striped coat.” (Love old books... might look into this concept and research the concepts involved.)

Wildfire makes a great line of UV paint and instruments. Any theatrical supply house or distributor should be able to help you out.

I have used wildfire paints and instruments a decent amount. The only problem with UV they generally have a warm up time so you would have to figure that out during your queing session. Also, they aren't the cheapest fixtures to rent.

I forgot about the Elation UV wash...that does a really nice job. I used 3 Elation 250 Hybrids with 5 Mac 500's and a 9 scrollers when I lit Ragtime. The UV wash worked great in Sarah Brown Eyes.
