new projector?

So an assembly member just told me he could get approval for a new projector and associated accessorizes for under $25000 total, installation could be done by district staff.

Screen size 30' x 18'
distance 55' mounted below foh3 (limited access, least flexibly, hard to service)

or other mounting option would be from the control bay
distance 85' (best flexibility, direct access, security issues)

or control booth distance 95' (offers security and easy access) I think this would be the preferred location.

what else would i need to get the signal to the projector?
is there any product that fits distance and the funding i have?
I could go over that number but then the funding gets much more complicated.

Thanks for any info

Honestly, I would choose your booth out of the three. The biggest challenge you have is budget. For front projection, you generally want a brighter projector due to competing with ambient light. Without knowing all the variables, I would say that you need at least 20,000 lumens (preferably closer to 25,000) with a long throw lens which will end up being at least double your budget. If you have the ability to purchase used or B-stock, you will get more bang for the buck. The brighter projectors often require 208v power, just to make sure you have that available.
