NSI DDS 9600 Control issue

I am having difficulty with a Lightronics TL 2448 not controllong some old NSI dds 9600 Dimmers. I am using the LMX output from the board. When I turn on the dimmers there is no control of the dimmers. If I wait a couple of minutes the dimmers come on to full and are not controllable.

The TL 2448 has both LMX and DMX outputs with a separate power supply.

The dimmers work fine with an old 12 channel 2 scene pre-set board.

Any Ideas?

Simple to upgrade your 9600 packs to DMX and then use the DMX output of the board. Kits like this one:

I would give Chris Pease a call at Lightronics before you make a move. Surely they have encountered this situation before and can give you some info on how to proceed. I've used Lightronics consoles with NSI 9600's with no problems, but not the TL-2448 specifically. By the way, how many feet of control cable are there between the dimmers and the console and what is the gauge of the cable? Could be a case of voltage drop.
Have you tried the console sitting right next to the dimmers with a short cable?
