I'm very sorry to hear someone died in this incident. Apparently "An initial investigation determined that the initial explosion had been caused by the disc of a circular saw breaking away and igniting fireworks to be used in the show."

I guess I'm adding 'power tools near explosives' to my mental list of 'things that can hurt me'. I think I'll take some time for an extra tool check in the shop today.
