Qlab 3 Mapping Help

We are trying to map a surface in Qlab, we want it to wrap around a staircase does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

Take a picture from the point of view of the projector and use it to build a mask?

A Mask is going to be the best option. In QLab, you can export an image of the grid, and then in photoshop, create a mask based on where the projections need to cut off the stairs.
