Resonant frequency question

I'm looking at some subs that have a resonant frequency of 35hz . The amps I'm looking at have a high pass filter at 30hz . I have my subs on an aux out and mainly just CD music goes to them , but there's a chance that I might send a bass guitar or kick drum their way someday . Will I get much content at the resonant frequency , and what will it sound like if I do ? Thanks

Wouldn't "just CD music" likely contain bass and kick as well as keys, synth, etc.? So would sending live bass or kick through the system be that much different?
