Scrim storage

my high school just bought a new scrim and our fly space is to small so we have to fold it up and tie it to the bar. is there a better way to store it?

Fold it up and toss it in a canvas bag or something like this.

I don't like leaving scrims up when they aren't immediately being used -- they tend to get snagged on stuff and end up with large holes in them. Take it down when it's not in use, keep it safe, and it might actually end up lasting long enough that it'll have been worth actually buying one instead of just renting as needed.

As Mike said storing it in a canvas bag or hamper is best. Don't store it in a plastic bag or tub. they tend to collect condensation. West Coast the scrim feed it into a canvas bag store it in a cool dark place.
