Automated Fixtures Studio Due CS4

Hi guys,

Hoping somebody can help me out here!

I've got a CS4 where one of the lamps isn't working. After trying a new lamp (and metering it for continuity and it being fine), I'm still no further on. This suggests (obviously) it's a problem with the unit.

Anybody experienced this before and if so any idea what the problem could be? All the other 3 lamps are fine. If it makes a difference it's one of the end lamps.

Cheers

Tom

If the lamp has continuity, the next step is to check for 28V AC at the socket (or in this case, the lamp contacts). Hopefully you won't see any voltage, and can move up the chain toward the transformer. Let's hope it's a broken wire or air-gap between the transformer and the lamp.

Good schematics are in the User Manual.pdf, pages 14-15.

Electricity is dangerous and can kill. Be sure to follow all instructions that came with your multimeter regarding safe working practices and PPE.
