I am a high school orchestra director who also serves as the musical and technical director for our productions. You can find me in the pit with a baton and a headset! I have found many solutions to tricky problems here and wanted to join the community. Thanks!

Welcome, musictech. Pay no attention (or little attention) to the threads deriding the band teacher as technical director. Personally, I'd rather have a member of the music dept. in charge of the theatre than an English or *cough* history teacher!
