Troubleshoot Elation Elar Quad Strips

Hi- I have Elation Elar Quad Strips that keep failing, and I think it's an issue with the power supply. They start by flashing, and eventually they shut themselves off, and make a very quiet clicking noise. I've tried swapping out the 3-pin to Edison power adapters, and that didn't do anything.

I've already sent a few back to Elation for repair, but it keeps happening to more units. Does anyone have any troubleshooting ideas?

Quick question- Your running them off clean distro power and not off a parked dimmer right?
Dimmer outputs even when parked can be problematic. Soft clicking may indicate a switch-mode power supply trying to cycle on power but finding an overload.

It's clean power, and not from a dimmer.
