Two new mics.

Well, we had a big problem with lack of mics last year, so this year we put some money aside for two new wireless mic systems. We had 8 Sennheiser EW...I believe they are 100s. They aren't sold anymore. But, we got the most similar ones. We purchased two Sennheiser EW 122 G3s. They work great. Whatever the volume is at for the old mics these are at half. They do great with not squeling.

So now we have 10 beltpack mics.

Nice! Hopefully you did some frequency coordination so you don't run into any RF compatibility issues.

Have you checked output setting of the new belt packs? Could be their output level is set lower than the old ones causing the difference.

Bill, they can, and I was looking at them today, but even so they are still a bit louder at 30 less than the other ones.
And due to other feedback problems we have, we have all the gains on the board bottomed out, except the two new ones which are at about 1/8th up. The older mics are set for -30 on the belt pack and the new ones -60, And we still get feedback with the gains..
