Upgrades in old buildings

Renovation in 1800 building.

Having to create mounting channels in four layers of sheetrock.

My idea of fun . . . NOT!

Ugh flashbacks of when I was an electrician!!!!!
Wired one residential building that was just tall enough to still be wood framed, but thus required silly amounts of drywall in many of the ceilings. Mounting those boxes JUST right while still being secure was a serious ...annoyance...
I feel you here bill.
Would hate to install speakers in this.
