Yeah, 'cause as soon as they got in the salts from their sweat would have created enough ions to conduct.
On eof the coolest things I've ever seen was a guy that had a fishtank full of some Chloroflourocarbon, looked just like water, they he took a TV that was turned on and lowered it into the liquid. It looked just like water but it's completely non-conductive.

I have heard that you can place a computer in a fishtank full of mineral oil and it will still function properly.

Ya, there are some super computer, where the whole thing is submerged in a non conductive liquid.
