Where are the S4 fire sales?

They seem to come and go on the auction sites more often than on the big used gear sites. I've actually started to see a surprising amount of equipment show up on the local general auction sites, as companies go out of business, and the guys cleaning house don't know what to do with it. I'd expect you'll see a lot of that over in New York.

PRG also runs a lot of gear through their ProShop site.

Some fixtures showing up on eBay as well as decent prices, but less likely to find order-by-the-pallet-load type deals.

For those who don't know, UsedLighting is how 4Wall gets rid of their gear. I've toured their warehouse in Burbank and they test things for functionality when they come back from tour, then later decide what they are going to sell. So when you buy something form Usedlighting, you are getting an item that was fully tested and ready to send out on a rental again. All in all, a pretty low risk bet for used gear. Used lighting's mailing list is fun too. They have a new deal every week for something they are clearing out you can get some good prices.

@Footer, you might call Used lighting and ask if you can get a discount for buying a bunch of fixtures.

I would assume PRG's process is similar, but don't know that for a fact.

Second this. I've purchased a bunch of gear from 4Wall for various theaters over the years and have never had any complaints about what I get from them.
