ETC ION Magic sheet problem.

When I'm using the magic sheet I have a problem with the moving heads if I select the icon in magic sheet and put it in full and record it in a cue and make the next cue a blackout and I run the cue into the blackout the moving lights still stay on. I couldn't get the moving heads to turn off until I went into the about page and reset the moving head. Am I doing something wrong on the magic sheet? Every time I try to use the magic sheet with moving heads it dose not want to play nice all of the led and conventional lights record and play back fine.

Lots of questions:

- What happens when you set values for the errant movers via the keypad and not via the magic sheet ?, do the intensities still get tracked into the so-called blackout cue ?. If you set those ML channels to Out via keypad, then record the blackout, do you still get the MLs intensities at their previous set levels ?

- If you go to Blind and look at the blackout cue, what color and value are the intensities for the movers in question ?

- Are you by any chance recording in Track mode ?, as opposed to Cue Only ?

This sounds like a tracking issue to me. What is your process to "record a blackout".

so from the last cue with the light's all up we take them to 0 and put up a light blue led fixture for dancers to see at there marks and recored it to the next cue. and when you goto the lighting cue then to the BO a few of the lights stay on even if you select the fixture and tell them to go home or even to 0 the only way is to go back to the magic sheet which i feel like i shouldn't have to do.

So if i tell the MH via the keypad to goto 0 or home it dose nothing i have to goto the MS and select the fixture and then tell it to goto 0 for the fixture to goto 0. I cant use the MS at all because it messes up my entire show file so even if i delete the cue the MH start to act up to the point where i have to fixture global reset and delete the show file and MS and start over and not use the MS. and in blind if im in the show and select the BO cue the fixture is at 0 so is the MS set up wrong or am i recording it in the wrong way?

Moved this thread to the Lghting Forum so it is posted in the proper place.

All kinds of questions,

- What console ?

- Assuming an Element / Ion or something, is Auto-Playback enabled ?. If not the cue will record the levels and attribute values but will not release manual values. Are the intensity and attribute
Evens staying red on the channel page ?

- Are you in track mode ?, as opposed to cue only ?.

- What is the MS button configured as ?, and try not using the MS button, but do a basic channel number recall, set intensity and attributes, do the record, etc.. and see what happens. Try to isolate the problem to how the MS is configured.
