I dont have access to a board or else this would be a easy question. I am traveling with a show from Thrust to Proscenium...fun times. If I patch two channels into the same dimmer. Both are at different levels in my cue structure will the higher level win out and display live? Or will the most...
I have used Pie tins but have switched to disposable sheet pans since you can get more out of them and they are cheap as well. I just smash them flat at the bumps. I am also done acid etching. Where as you print onto the metal then take acid and burn away the "ink less" parts. You can get much...
I am sure it is being done somewhere, however...LED's have a rather weak out put of light. Though technology is improving it is still not bright enough to over come most indoor theatre environments much less outdoor with fading light conditions.
Personally I have not seen any LED fixtures...

I have used one in a demo from ETC, I thought it was great, fairly easy to learn on and syntex is just a bit diffrent. Now we have an Ion and that works great as well.
Shiben is correct there is no wrong was or right way to do anything in lighting, however there is a way that looks bad and a way that looks better. If nothing special jumps out from the script then yes I tend to keep the cools and warm coming from the same direction.
Backlight if there is only one, the usefulness of top is great if your key and fill are not the color you want on stage, just scroll over to it and the stage be perfect
OR you can get a free tour if you live in ORLANDO. I have done lighting specific tours, and costume specific tours all at disney. Still working on Universal, don't care too much about Sea World.
