I dont have access to a board or else this would be a easy question. I am traveling with a show from Thrust to Proscenium...fun times. If I patch two channels into the same dimmer. Both are at different levels in my cue structure will the higher level win out and display live? Or will the most recent change be the one to display.

A dimmer can't be patched into two channels -- the dimmer will be in the channel you last patched it. (The console would also ask you to confirm when you patch the dimmer into another channel). The best solution here is to pick the channel that will best serve the needs of the show and leave the other unpatched.

LTP/HTP interactions occur when you have the same channel used in multiple cue lists and submasters. A dimmer can only be patched to one channel.

I thought it sounded like a terminology mixup. It sounds like you need two cue stacks, one thrust, one proscenium.
