Hopefully I'll be there.
This will be my ??th year of not attending. If I were there it would be the first time...Looks like I won't be going

I burned out on conventions and trade shows 40 years ago.
Being a part of the digital media commission, I try to make it to USITT. in particular, this is the conference where I really get to give back to the community
That being said, trade shows and conventions are quite a bit different than they were 40 years ago. Heck, I've only been going for around 30 years and there is an amazing difference. The local conferences may be similar, but national conferences have stepped it up a notch
If I were at the other end of my career, I'd probably be much more enthusiastic. USITT is probably the biggest in-person networking opportunity for theater technicians.
