6pin XLR for Comm (Clearcom)

We have an "corrective" adapted Clear Com system installed, and we need some 6 pin cable. Our packs are the 6pin 2 channel wired version. Though they did not run the correct wiring in the building to utilize the 2 channel feature so we operate it in A channel only for the packs. We use the B side of the main station as a A+B. We've adjusted our wired comm panels to 3 pin and use 3p to 6p adapters which allowed us the flexibility to utilize standard 3XLR for running pack locations around the theater. I still have some 6pin cable to daisy chain the packs together, and since we've added a Hollyland M1 system to our comms, I'm looking to use the B side and the wired comms for our video folks

Now after all that unnecessary preamble.

It seems not all 6pin xlr is made the same (Connector) I ordered some 6pin xlr cable from B&H and while it seems to interconnect (to tightly) with the existing 6 pin cable I have, I will NOT connect into the Clearcom Packs directly. When the company was doing our panel swaps from 6p to 3p he had mentioned that there was two styles of 6 pin in passing conversation, but don't recall much more than that.

Does anyone have any options or suggestion on brands, or connectors to expand our 6 pin xlr comm cable inventory?

Or ITT Cannon XLR-6-11-C. Big $$.

The Clearcom branded cable for this is pretty expensive, but also very nice and has the right connectors... What makes it nice is mostly the Mogami wire which can be found reasonably priced here. It's not the easiest thing to solder that wire to a six-pin XLR, but if you're good at fiddly little things, you can save a lot of money by assembling your own.

There are two standards for for 6-pin XLR where one has the pins rotated like...15 degrees? You may have actually damaged the two incorrect ones you forced together...

The two varieties of XLR6 ARE NOT supposed to be inter-connectable. I try to reference the callab article https://www.controlbooth.com/threads/connectors-xlr.13598/ whenever 6-pin is mentioned. "Neutrik standard" is black insert and non-symmetrical. "Switchcraft-style" as used by ETC and most two-channel audio, is gray insert and symmetrical.

Everyone using 6pin will eventually learn this lesson the hard way.
