Looks cute, and a decent price (if decently constructed), but no connectivity with other stuff, and I'm not entirely sure about the always-on thing.

You hit the nail on the head about the touch-on, touch-off talk button. It's a very compelling product, but it seems to have some flaws for theater use. I think they missed the mark by not including a tactile push to talk button. With the smooth membrane switch, you can't find the button by feel or tell if the mic is on or off without looking. The other problem is that the ear bud style mic might force the user to speak louder than you would with a headset mic.
