    hey everyone,

or lighting tech has asked me to ask you on his behalf about a part of beauty in the beast that we can work out how to do

the script speaks about a translucent fort and we have no idea how to do it

any suggestions that arn't going to break the bank?

can you afford a scrim, or some companies rent out pre painted scrims for the production, so check that out

I just completed a production of Beauty and The Beast. What part of the script refers to a translucent fort? I must have missed that, but i would suggest a scrim otherwise let me know and i can tell you how i did most, if not all the effects with out breaking the bank, too much.

You could potentially build a very open frame, and then cover it with Rosco diffusion, silk, or spun (or the likes). Would definitely give the right effect. I think you can get rolls (very large, I forget the exact size) in the $150 range.
