BTC and BTW?

I agree that it is VERY likely W = Warm (R17) and C = Cool (R54). The question then is what does BT stand for. The other fixtures use that area of the key to denote the area of the stage they are being focused to (1-10). My Guess is "BT" is a stage location (Back Tower? Black Teaser? (on the fabric?), etc. So they are likely being used to light a scenic element or area of the upstage. I was originally going to agree with "Back Top" except if they were backlight, they wouldn't be aimed in that direction and would be facing downstage usually.

As it happens, earlier this evening I've begun the search into where that book currently resides, who has it, and how I can learn the inner cover info such as the author, publisher, ISBN number and so forth. If I get anywhere I'll get back to you Mr. Carter. @JonCarter
