We only have a few set pieces we have to build and the play isnt until feb 17 but we have small stuff inbetween now and then and our teacher wants us to go all out on the few things we have to buildmight be useful to mention what you're having problems with. Going all out doesn't really explain what issues you're having though. I believe when we made it we cut the shape out of ply twice, braced it some so you could stand on it and faced it all with bendy ply/ whacky wood and stuck some legs on it.
Thank you this is what i needed to know. Where did you get the bendy plyGoing all out doesn't really explain what issues you're having though. Its tough to go all out on the piano, I mean its a kids piano, not some Baroque piece
If you have trouble sourcing the bendy-ply, I wonder if you could use a couple layers of vinyl flooring.
Wet maso with a series of half-depth relief cuts with take a bend pretty well. For that matter, I've used Maso in a pinch. Won't work on super tight bends but depending on the curve of your piano you might be able to pull it off.
