I just purchased a Chavet Mega Strobe FX12. I used it in auto-mode for a show last Saturday, and it was still operating fine when I returned to the office. At some point (possible while setting DMX) it went into a "robotic" type of mode where it flashes steadily, and the programming display on the back flashes a " u.1"
I powered down hoping it would reset itself. I tried pressing different combinations of buttons on the programmer and that yielded nothing. Is it defective or does the CMOS (if it has one) need to drain and refresh it's factory default?
I cannot get it to go to " LoAd" mode to return to factory default. Has anyone else run into this?
