Berkey-Colortran (later LEE-Colortran)'s ERS from 1978-1990(?). Featured an ellipsoidal reflector as well as a focusable barrel, gel frame, four angle-able shutters, a pattern slot (or an iris could be substituted). Having a single 8x13 PC lens, it used a 10"x10" colorframe and came from factory with yoke and C-Clamp. This series was the first to be rated for 1000W, using the FEL lamp family mounted axially, coming to market just slightly prior to the Strand-Century Lekolite® 22xx series.

The series also included a 14°-35° zoom model, the Zoom Ellipse (cat#213-165) and the industry's first 5° Ellipsoid (cat#213-115).
Others in the line were
40° Ellipsoid (cat#213-055)
30° Ellipsoid (cat#213-065)
20° Ellipsoid (cat#213-075)
12° Ellipsoid (cat#213-095)
Note that the last digit of the catalog number indicates the type of male plug. The 5 indicates no plug, bare leads only.

The 20/30/40° units were unique in that by moving lenses and aperture plates around, a lens tube could be converted from one angle to another.
