Connecting Sennheiser IEM and Wireless Mic units

Bit of a dummy question but does anyone know if there is any encryption or similar things stopping me connecting a Sennheiser IEM Transmitter to a Sennheiser Wireless Mic receiver. Looking at the LSP500 units and was wanting to be able to use a mixer but stay wireless. Thanks

300 series IEM to 300 series receiver in the LSP500s works fine, we use it regularly.
Remind me to post more details in a few days when I've made it through the next time zone change...

I've done the reverse of what you're trying to do, where I use a SK100 (beltpack transmitter) with an EK300 IEM (beltpack IEM receiver). Both systems use different pilot tone frequencies, so I had to disable the pilot tone on both devices.
