dimmer rooms

curious to see how everyones dimmer room is set up. posting from my dimmer room at the moment. I try to keep my room tricked out, got 2 xboxes linked together, keurig coffee maker, controlled led ribbon as light source, furniture blankets under the table with duv curtain for well deserved naps. crafty right outside the door for maximum snack availability.

Depends on the gig... My permanent venue I could never have anything extra in our Dimmer room because it is also the Electrical room for the whole building.

That being said, during the Olympics, my dimmer room was a 40ft SeaCan, with 4 96 way touring racks(as the only supply of heat), A couple S4 Pars as light, a 50" LCD and my xbox to keep me occupied.

I have scandalously few photos of the room in my regular location. Here's a photo of the door frame I took while cleaning the air filters on the racks:

You can see why regular cleaning is important, if this is the build up on the door. Other than that, there's exactly enough room to allow maybe 5cm of clearance between the open doors on the two C21s and the breaker sub-panel, relay pack, and ventilation controls on the remaining walls. I guess I should actually be glad they put the amps in the booth, or else they'd somehow be wedged in too.

Can't get a photo to do it justice, but ours is a non-square, maybe 5' x 6' at the biggest. Jammed in there are two 96-dimmer sensor racks, a 600A disco for those, and an a/c overhead. Strangest is the 20' ceiling (A/C is at 8'), and the bar grating false floor. It's wedged into an old area of a 1928 theatre, so I suppose it makes sense.
As a bonus, on the wall behind the racks someone left a line denoting high water from the flood in 2008.
