Electronics Diversified Incorporated, a Hillsboro, Oregon manufacturer of stage lighting controls from the 1960s until 2010, when purchased by Cooper Controls. The Oregon factory closed in 2011.

EDI manufactured the first memory lighting control system on Broadway, the LS-8, designed by Gordon Pearlman and used on A Chorus Line in 1975. That show also used Scrimmer dimmers from EDI.

Some information on Scrimmer dimmers and consoles is available in the PDF file contained in the wiki entry for TTI. More manuals for EDI dimming and control can be found at the repository at http://parlights.com/electronics-diversified-incorporated-edi-user-manuals/ .

For service and repair options, see the Cooper Controls site linked above or one of the vendors listed in the collaborative article Service and Repair Vendors.

Just as a side note EDI was started in the "Garage" of Hollywood Lights, Inc. in Portland, Oregon before moving to Hillsboro.
