Control/Dimming ETC Element Question

You'll need to create two macros. One to unpark the channel, one to park it. Your cue will need to probably be a series of follow cues, rather than one multipart cue. First will need to execute the macro to unpark the channel (execute will be on a softkey). So [Cue][x][execute][macro][y][Enter]. You could use a delay on the cue, or in a another part to dim the channel. Second cue would be executing reparking the channel.

I'm thinking 2 macro's and 3-4 cues.

- Write the Unpark and Park macro's

- Cue "WW", brings channel XX to full (this way the channel is at a level when you unpark, the Un-Park action will take the channel to zero in Park).
- Cue "XX" as a follow/hang to "WW", runs the macro to unpark.
- Cue "YY" runs the macro to repark the channel at a level.
- Cue "ZZ" (optional) takes out the channel that is now parked, or that may happen in any latter cue.
