ETC ION and Martin Atomic 3000 DMX Strobe

I was wondering about the profile that is set in the Ion console for this particular fixture. I have it all patched correctly. It's in 4 channel mode. When I go to activate the strobe the default effect is lightning instead of the standard strobe effect as is labeled in the profile.

Any suggestions??

Maybe there's a clue in ETC's fixture release notes. Failing that I suggest you contact ETC support. They are quite good at helping resolve these sorts of issues.

Set DIP switches 1-3 and 5 to OFF and switch 4 to ON for this
personality Set DIP switch 6 to OFF for high power mode, set switch to
ON for low power mode Ch 2 - Maximum flash duration is 650mSec
with 50Hz mains supply, or 530mSec with 60Hz. Ch 3 - Maximum
strobe rate is 25Hz with 50Hz mains supply, or 30Hz with 60Hz supply.
For blinder effect (permanent on) increase strobe duration until it is
longer than the interval between flashes. Have not tried to model this. For
single flashes, set intensity and Strobe rate to 0. The unit will flash once
each time intensity is varied. Have not tried to model this.
