Control/Dimming ETC Smartfade ML vx Strand 250ML

I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to compare these two consoles. They are very similar and seem to appeal to many small scale providers of small lighting systems using conventionals, LEDs and a few movers.

I have used the Smartfade ML extensively in various applications and recently had a demo of the Strand 250ML.

The 250ML is a really really great little console, especially for the price. If they can get the fixture library selection figured out, it'll be even better. They need to get the current fixtures in there, not every fixture from 15 years ago that there are probably only 50 of left in existence in a few venues' back closets. I heard that they may have fixed this. I love the straight-up command-line syntax. It's like they made an Express/Smartfade ML hybrid. It's got a nice, simple command line syntax with a real cuelist that doesn't make me hate the word "STACK" with every fiber of my programming brain, and it's also got enough ML features to keep a basic rig with movers & LEDs and other intel toys happy.
