Control/Dimming ETC SmartPack half of the instruments flicker

The each of the first six instruments (simple incand fresnels) on our ETC 12 dimmer SmartPack flicker and get worse as they are brought up in tandem. However the other 6 remain unaffected nor do they effect the flicker of rate of the first six instruments. Running through an FLX. Anyone got any ideas?

What kind of power feed to the dimmers? Could be a voltage issue on one line

When I had a smart pack wired, it's two phase power, so i'd say it is most definitely the power being supplied.

We had this happen once on a used SmartPack that we bought. They UPS'd it to us and when we got it 1-4 were occasionally flickering. We started out by trying a different console to rule out DMX issues. Even though it was in our shop we checked the voltage just to be sure as that will definitely cause issues. Our voltage was OK so we opened it up to take a look and found that one of the cards in there had worked loose and was making intermittent contact. One side was seated and the other side wasn't so some flickered. I think there were thumbscrews that held it in place that had worked loose. Pushed it all the way in and haven't had a problem since. Of course, don't open it up unless you know what you're doing.
