Fiber Optic Emitter

I'm looking for recommendations for a fiber optic emitter. It needs to be CMY (not a color wheel), bright (think HMI), and a customizable twinkle or fx wheel. It also needs to be DMX controlled.

Prefect solution is a used broken mover!
All you need is the ballast, lamp, and CMY flags to work. Used one (250 watt HMI) on a fiber optic backdrop once and it was fantastic.

Martin has the FiberSource CMY150. It looks to be missing the FX wheel, but otherwise fits the bill.

From doing research for my own fiber drop, all of those features in a single box don't exist. That's the to best of my knowledge anyway. We settled on the QFX150. You lose the color mixing, but you have twinkle wheel. There just doesn't seem to be a lot of demand for an all in one unit for fiber source, so no one has developed one. I would think seriously about JD's suggestion, if you want all of those features in one.

You may be able to pick up a used HES color pro FX
It has CMY mixing & a fx wheel. I don't know if its customizable but the fixture uses a MSD250/2 & DMX

The color pro fx is plenty bright for fiber applications in my experience.

Color Pro FX seems to fit your bill perfectly.
