Fluorescent color Correcion

looking for a gel to color correct fluorescent lights. would like to at least get thm to the same as an incadecent

Generally, something along Minus Green (like L247) is going to be your friend. What fixture and what application do you need this for?

these are downlights with three plug in tube type CFL. Client wants them to match the incadesents that are in the space as well..... I plan of making a tube with the gel and sliding it on the lamp

You'll also have to take color temperature into account. The gel needed is going to be different between a 2700k lamp and a 4100k lamp.

Could you be more specific about the CFL? Is it for camera or eyes?

I'm pretty sure you can't correct a fluorescent to 3200k, at least not easily. A typical fluorescent doesn't put out much red or orange wave lengths, so it would be hard to make it resemble a tungsten lamp. But a pink or orange tint should help make it look closer to a tungsten. You should give this a read, it explains why fluorescent lamps don't have a true color temperature.
