Generic remote for powering on Panasonic projector

We have a Panasonic EW630 Projector in house and one of the students misplaced the remote. Might there be a generic (cheap) remote I can purchase for simple on/off procedures? Thanks!

You could also try getting a cheap universal remote with an auto-search mode. Panasonic makes all sorts of other, more common remote-controlled devices, so there's a chance they recycled the same IR protocol.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I would head on down to Radio Shack. They carry universal remotes to replace just about anything.

If that doesn't work, try one of those Logitech Harmony universal remotes you program via USB connection to your computer.
