Hanging a new cyc

Any tips for hanging a brand new cyc?

depends on how it is folded. the new cyc i got was folded accordion style just like most rental drops. we put out a new sheet of plastic directly under the pipe. then laid the cyc on top of that. in my case the top was on stage left and the bottom was on stage right.(so it faced the correct direction when done) then we just took the top SR cyc corner of the webbing and walked it from SL to SR being careful that it all stayed on the clean plastic. at that point we just started at the center and worked to the ends tying it on to the pipe. flew that out, balanced the pipe then tied it on to the trip pipe.

Then just be clean and stretch it tight tying from the center out. Also, if you have new bottom pipe make sure it is clean.
