Hi, I'm Sean, I joined a few days ago and everyone seems nice.

I'm 16 at the moment (since last month), still in high school in Glasgow.

I've got essentially no involvement in theatre other than a growing interest in lighting and practical effects from live shows, haunted houses and theme parks (I don't even do drama class due to the way the options form worked out, and the fact that I only very recently discovered the link between drama and lighting (First year mostly consisted of copying things out and learning about mime)).

I've recently ordered a MagicDMX basic USB DMX controller and a couple of cheap lights to start teaching myself the basics of lighting design.

Have you taken a look at the 3D visualizer that comes with our software? This should help with learning to program.

I didn't know that there was a chamsys visualiser, but I'll definitely read through the manual and give it a go.

Hi Sean:

When you have the program open (try as a demo Robedemo.shw hit setup, load show - demos folder then select robedemo.shw) select the visualizer from the menu along the top of the screen.
