Hi!
I'm the audio/visual technician for our school in the SW of England. I've spent 30+ years in the IT industry and made the move into AV when my old job as community support for the school ended last summer. Since then, I've been on a few courses via Stage Electrics and have completely revamped our theatre space at the school to make it a) safe and b) functional!
Although new to the world of theatre lighting, I've been involved with live and recorded sound in a semi-pro capacity for at least 40 years and am actively involved in presenting outdoor festivals, etc., in this area. I also play in a couple of bands.
Nothing like a quiet life!
I'm looking forward to taking part in this forum and hopefully learn a lot from you all.
